New Website Rabobank Art Collection

The Rabobank Art Department is proud to present its new website. It is a platform that provides both direct insight into the collection and an overview of our activities in the field of collecting art.
In 2006, Rabobank was one of the first corporate collections in the Netherlands to launch a website that displayed the collection online. After being online for over two years, new technological requirements and opportunities emerged that needed to be addressed more effectively.
The current update of this platform in 2008 is the result of this process. The updated site is available in Dutch and English and this demonstrates that the Rabobank Art Collection is now also positioned internationally. The art pages provide current information on both the acquired artworks and the artist’s body of work. Site users can also take virtual tours that show a cross section of the collection.
The most recent project, the Rabo Art Offer 2008, is a series of artworks created especially for Rabobank employees. The growing number of artworks from the Rabobank Art Collection that are on loan enhances the collection’s mobility and visibility. This enables the largest possible number of visitors to view the collection. ‘New in the collection’ shows a selection of the first acquisitions of works by new artists and regularly provides an in-depth overview of a particular artist.
