Rabobank employees who had a long-held ambition to become an art collector were given the opportunity to fulfil their aspiration this autumn. This is because four young artists from the Rabo Art Collection were asked to create a limited edition artwork especially for Rabobank.

Energeia opens in Amsterdam South

An exhibition of art from corporate collections displayed in a dynamic urban setting in the heart of the Amsterdam Zuidas business district was opened on Thursday, 22 November 2007. The exhibition features sculptures by Fernando Sánchez Castillo, Charlie Roberts, Tony Cragg, Sjoerd Buisman, Ewerdt Hilgemann, Henk Visch and Rob Voerman and photography and video works by Thomas Ruff and Julika Rudelius. Energeia also showcases installations created especially for this location, such as the work by Frank Bruggeman.

Rabo art auction a resounding success

More than 200 works of art from Rabobank’s art collection were auctioned on 14 April 2007. The auction, which was prepared in-house in partnership with Christie’s, was designed especially for Rabobank employees.

The ‘Money, money, money’ film afternoon was an inspiring event. The Duisenberg Auditorium opened its doors on Friday, 20 April for a showing of three films from the Rabo Art Collection.

Hoogte x Breedte x Diepte (HxBxD) (Height x Width x Depth)

HxBxD was the title of the exhibition about the Rabo Art Collection that was held at the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag, the GEM and The Hague Museum of Photography from 26 February through 8 May 2005. These three museums situated at the same location in The Hague consequently worked in concert to showcase the work of contemporary Dutch artists.
