Rabo Auction 2007

More than 200 works of art from Rabobank’s art collection were auctioned on 14 April 2007. The auction, which was prepared in-house in partnership with Christie’s, was designed especially for Rabobank employees.
Around 300 prospective buyers were invited to attend the auction at the Duisenberg Auditorium in Utrecht. Hans ten Cate, Member of the Executive Board and Chairman of the Rabobank Nederland Art Commission, auctioned off the first artwork. All 200 lot numbers were sold. The bids ranged from 10 to 6,000 euros. Nine of the written bids were ultimately accepted.
