A second book on the Rabo Art Collection entitled unlocked # 2 was published in conjunction with the HxBxD Rabo Art Collection exhibition at the Gemeentemuseum, the GEM and the Hague Museum of Photography (26 February through 8 May 2005). This book exposes part of the core collection in text and images. A unique feature of this edition is the striking way the collection is ‘unlocked’ based on sequential generations. This structure reveals connections and contrasts. Each generation is recognisable by its designated colours and these colours recur in various ways throughout the book: golden yellow, clear blue, grass green and orange red. Janneke Wesseling, who is an art critic for the Dutch newspaper NRC Handelsblad, wrote a piece on the Rabo Art Collection and Koos Breukel created four double portraits of artists Charlotte Dumas, Alicia Framis, Aernout Mik and Ger van Elk.
